Dorothy Presutto

Dorothy Presutto (nee Settlemire), age 96 of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on October 11, 2021.

Born October 14, 1925 to Isaac and Anna Settlemire in Lorain, Ohio, Dorothy spent her entire life in the area.

She was loved by everyone she met and gave that same love in return. Whether it was cooking for the holidays, her family or the entire neighborhood, she enjoyed every minute of it. She also enjoyed playing bingo, Yahtzee and canasta. Above all, she loved her family.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Tanè Turner, Kieana Presutto, Ashley Hitchens and Rick Presutto as well as her great grandchildren, Airreana, Italie, Ethan, Dareon, Saniyah, Ava and Ayla.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Presutto Sr.; children, James Presutto Jr., Ricky Presutto and Mary Ann Presutto as well as her sisters, Mary Gomas and Doris Ruminsky.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 29 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 12:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
