Edward Alvarez

A man that was loved by his city, who enjoyed helping others and always reminding us tomorrow will be a better day. Edward Alvarez, age 90, a loving father to 12 and adoring husband to Roxanna Alvarez passed away suddenly at home Thursday, June 16, 2022. Edward was born in 1932 in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. He came to Lorain Ohio and became a successful businessman. He enjoyed going to mass on Sundays but also loved watching wrestling, bowling, and playing dominoes. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of mass at 12:30 p.m. at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, 2143 Homewood Drive, Lorain.  Rev. Neil Walters will officiate.
