Edward C. Pritts

Edward C. Pritts, Jr., died peacefully October 1, 2016 at Arden Courts in Westlake, Ohio. He was born May 21, 1927 in Johnstown, PA. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII, receiving the Victory Medal, then graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. He moved to Lorain, OH where he worked at US Steel for 32 years and was a member of St. Peter's Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Pritts (nee Buffington), parents, Edward Clark and Rose Marie (Gallagher) Pritts and sisters Marguerite Rodkey and Betty Osborne. He is survived by his children: Dr. Clark Pritts (Susan) of Supply, NC, Karen Parker of North Olmsted, OH, Judy Patterson (Jeff) of Gahanna, OH, Joy Pritts, Esq. (Mark) of Chevy Chase, MD, Linda Callahan (Richard) of Charlotte, NC, Bonnie Pritts of Marietta, GA and 7 grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Arden Courts and Hospice for their excellent care. A private service will be held at a later date. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is assisting the family with arrangements.
