Effie Marie Spraggins

Effie Marie Spraggins (nee Cavanaugh), age 69, of Lorain, passed away suddenly, on Oct. 3, 2010, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1940, in Struthers, Ohio, living most of her life in Lorain though. She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Parish, in Elyria. She was an L.P.N. at local nursing homes and hospitals.
Effie is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Spraggins, 2 sons; James and Thomas Anthony, and a grandson, Aaron Spraggins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; James and Clarice (nee Burkey) Cavanaugh.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Nov. 13th, at 10:30 am, at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, for a graveside service. The Rev. Ed Dillon, Deacon of St. Mary's Church, Elyria, will officiate. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Callistian Guild, PO Box 605125, Cleveland, Ohio 44105.
