Eileen Ann Novak (nee Demyan) 63, of Elyria, died on Monday, March 22, 2010, at her residence following a brief illness.
Born Nov. 14, 1946 in Lorain, she lived in Amherst before moving to Elyria. She was a 1964 graduate of Admiral King High School.
Eileen had a passion for flowers and floral arranging. She was in the floral business for over 30 years, currently owning and operating Eileen's Greens and Things in South Amherst.
She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in South Amherst.
Surviving is her brother, Norman (Patricia) Demyan of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her parents, John in 1959 and Wanda (nee Kryc) Demyan in 1980; and her sister, Stephanie Daub in 1980.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at 10:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 333 S. Lake St., Amherst. Rev. Fr. John M. Tezie, pastor will officiate. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
