Eleanor G. Neufer

Eleanor Gertrude Neufer (nee: McMullen), age 90, of North Ridgeville, OH, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville, OH, after a long illness.
She was born on June 22, 1916 in LaPorte, OH, and resided in the Lorain and Elyria area most of her life.
Eleanor was employed at General Industries, Elyria, in the molding department for 20 years. She had enjoyed doing crafts and ceramics, and was even a ceramic teacher for many years. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and reading.
She is survived by her son, William Heuser, of North Ridgeville, her daughters; Georgia Clawson, of Fairhope, Alabama, and Judy Pollard, of North Canton, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo. L. Neufer, in 1984, her parents; Albert Clayton and Amanda (nee Buswell), her 3 brothers, and a sister.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 11, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. The Rev. Rich Henry, Pastor of the Amherst Church of the Nazarene, Amherst, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
