Eleanor Tillack

Eleanor Tillack, age 89, a life-long resident of Lorain, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2022. 

She graduated from Lorain High School in 1950.  In 1952, Eleanor met John “Jack” Tillack in 1952 at a dance held at the Lorain Polish American Citizens Club and had been dancing together since.  In 1957, they got married and have spent 64 wonderful years together.

She was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain and Westlake Community Center.  Eleanor enjoyed golfing, caring for her vegetable and flower gardens, reading, dancing and RVing throughout the west and Florida.

Surviving is her husband, Jack; son, Mark Tillack of Brinkhaven; and daughter, Karen Ann Tillack of Sandusky; and beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vasil Todoroff and Anna Todoroff Vocaire; and a sister, Kathy (Pat) Grego.

She will be remembered at a mass at St. Peter Parish.  Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists is handling the arrangements
