Elizabeth "Betty" Cibrik (nee Takacs), age 90, of Copley,Ohio, formerly of Lorain, died on Friday, March 18, 2005, following a lengthy illness.
Born on November 13, 1914 in Rossford, Ohio. She had graduated from high school in Hungary.
Betty was employed as a seamstress for 27 years at Joseph & Feiss Company, retiring in 1975.
She was a member of St. Emmerick's Catholic Church, Cleveland and St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Lorain.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and baking.
She is survived by her granddaughter: Joanna Seronka, of Apollo Beach, Florida, and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 34 years: Joseph Sziklay, and 2nd husband: Joseph Cibrik, son: Joseph Sziklay in 1999, brothers: Endre Jancsi and Imri Jancsi and sister: Margaret.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2005, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
