Esthervina Reyes Cruz

Esthervina Reyes Cruz, 80, of Lorain died on Friday, December 18, 2009 at her home surrounded by her beloved family.
She was born March 29, 1929 in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico and moved to Lorain in 1955.
She was the widow of Agustin Rojas Cruz, a loving mother of eight, grandmother of four and great grandmother of one.
A member of Sacred Heart Chapel of Lorain and she enjoyed church groups, sewing, cooking and dancing.
She is survived by her daughters, Migdalia Rojas, Sonia Rojas, both of Lorain, Leticia Rojas-Ulm of Red Feather, CO, Noemi Rojas, Nora Rojas, and Rafaela Rojas, all of Miami, Florida; sons, Noel Rojas and Damian Cruz, both of Lorain; grandsons, Damian Rodriguez, Michael Rojas, Seth Hammons and Robert Rojas, great grandson, Gabriel Agustin Tellez Rodriguez; brothers, Ramon Reyes, of Hialeah, FL, Rafael Reyes, and Manuel Reyes, both of Barceloneta, PR.;
sisters, Basilia Castellanos, of Maryland, Adela Reyes, Maria Reyes, both of Barceloneta, PR, and Mejia Reyes, of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Agustin R. Cruz, parents; Damian and Rafaela (nee Torres) Reyes, brothers; Eddieberto, Belen, and Antonio Reyes, and her sister, Julia Reyes.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday followed by a 9:30 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Chapel, Rev. Fr. William Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
