Eva Ann Jackson, (nee Pappe) age 78, of Lorain, died on Saturday, June 01, 2013 at Keystone Point, Lagrange.
She was born on July 17, 1934 in Lorain, where she has lived her entire life. Eva was a graduate of Admiral King High School. She was a member of Compassion Baptist Church, Lorain, where she was an usher at the church. Eva enjoyed baking and being involved with the church.
She is survived by her sister, Margaret Marshall of Lorain; sons, Walter Doughty of Sheffield Lake, David Doughty of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, Randall Doughty of Louisville, KY, George Doughty of Elyria, William Doughty of Lorain, Thomas Jackson, Jr. of Elyria, Terry Jackson of Lorain; daughters, Deborah Yancer of LaGrange, Christine Williams of Morrow, OH, Laura Hughes of Lebanon, OH and Joan Barron of Vermilion; 23 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary (nee Kure) Pappe.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 3, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
