Evelyn Lois McCue

Evelyn Lois McCue, (nee Marsac), 92, of Lorain, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Specialty Hospital of Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 24, 1918, in Lorain, where she remained a life long resident.
Evelyn graduated from Lorain High School in 1937. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lorain, Lorain Lighthouse Chapter of A.A.R.P #399, Lorain Senior Center, Lorain Democratic Women's Club, and The Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary of Lorain.
She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, cooking and baking, and traveling with her friends.
Surviving is her daughter, Lois Shimoloens of Lorain; and a sister, Elaine Carney, Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donald, in 2003; parents, Fred Marsac, in 1967, and Margaret Jean (nee Mack) Marsac, in 1981; a grandson, James D. Pry, in 1990; and a sister, June Bardoner in 2006.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Jimmy Madsen, pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
