Felipe Oyola, 71 of Lorain, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home, Lorain following a lengthy illness.
Born Feb. 7, 1939 in Cidra, Puerto Rico, he came to Lorain 55 years ago.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel. He enjoyed watching movies.
Surviving is his brother, Rito Collazo of Lorain; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Andrea (nee Enrique) Oyola; brother, Juan Collazo; and sister, Juanita Collazo.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 8:30 am until the time of Mass at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. William Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will be held privately for the family on Tuesday in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
