Felix Anthony Ortix, 5 month old son of Felix Ortiz and Nicole Gonzalez of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at his residence.
Felix was born March 23, 2008 in Lorain. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Angel and Virginia Gonzalez of Lorain; Maternal great grandparents, Jose and Carmen Gonzalez of Lorain, and Clara Barela of Pheonix, AZ; paternal grandparents, Carmen Martinez, and Carmen Ortiz both of Lorain; godparents, Nina Riggins and Joshua Vargas both of Lorain; and many aunts and uncles, and little cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Jim Archuleta; paternal great grandfathers, Felix Rodriguez, and Luis Robert DeJesus; paternal great grandmother, Gloria Cruz; and a cousin, Elijah S. Riggins in 2002.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 8:00 am until the time of funeral mass at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. William Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
