Florencio Ojeda, age 67, of Hollywood, Florida, formerly of Lorain, died on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Memorial Pembroke Hospice, Hollywood, Florida, following a brief illness.
He was born on November 22, 1939 in Savana Grande, Puerto Rico. He moved to Lorain in 1968 and lived here until moving to Florida in 1984.
He was employed at Ford Motor Company, Lorain for 30 years.
While living in Lorain he was a member of Templo Emmanuel and United Auto Workers Local #425. Florencio enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Isabel (nee Santiago), of Hollywood, Florida, sons: Natanael Bonilla, Neftaly Bonilla, both of Lorain, Nehemia Bonilla of Hollywood, Florida, daughter: Nimsi Rivera, of Davie, Florida, 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and sisters: Teresa and Emma.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Felix and Anibal Ojeda, and parents: Florencio Ojeda, Sr and Enriquetta (nee Roman).
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Iglesia De Dios Casa De Refugio, East 31st Street and Pearl Avenue, Lorain . Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
