Florene Tyler

Florene Tyler, (nee Wooten), 66, of Lorain, died Monday, October 2, 2005 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center - West, Lorain, following a sudden illness.
She was born in Omar, West Virginia on August 22, 1939, she lived in Kentucky before coming to Lorain in 1957 where she has lived since.
She was currently working at Invicare in Elyria as an assembler for the past 7 years. Prior to that, she worked at Pioneer Contracting in Bedford Heights for 16 years as a field office manager.
Florene enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and traveling to Las Vegas and playing Keno there.
Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Gene Tyler III, sons, Gene Tyler IV, of Houston, Texas; daughters, Ruby Harris of Vermilion, Mary Gonzales of Vermilion, and Dolores McAuly of Rising Sun, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; brothers, Charles Wooten of Kincaid, Illinois, and Darrel Wooten of Orient, Ohio; sisters, Lorene Fracchione of Lorain, and Lena Harper of Morehead, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry James Wooten and Goldie Delorse (nee Foster) Wooten; sisters, Rena May Wooten in 1966 and Nancy Pearl Howell in 1992.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where Funeral services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Joan Skelley-Watts, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, Vermilion, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
