Francis F. Britton, age 64, of Lorain, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at his home.
He was born on May 8, 1947, in Mt. Morris, PA. He moved to Clarksburg, West Virginia when he was just 2 years old and had lived there until the early 1970's. He then moved to Ohio for a brief time, before moving back to PA, and then finally settling in Lorain in 2006.
Francis held various jobs through out the years, his most recent was at Silver Star in McKeesrocks, PA. He was also a truck driver for Stroh's Brewery, a welder, and worked at a demolition company. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting.
Francis is survived by his sons; Francis "Duke" Stout and Robert Stout, both of Clarksburg, West VA, and Jeremy (Carrie) Durban, of PA, daughters; April Stout, of Clarksburg, West VA, and Connie Stout, of CA, 6 grandchildren, his mother, Hazel Britton, of Lorain, brother, Roger (Paula) Stout, of Lorain, as well as several nieces and nephews, all of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, his father, Francis Stout, paternal grandparents; William and Bernice Stout, and maternal grandparents; Blonde and Bula Britton.
The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.
