Frank J. Patterson IV

Frank J. Patterson IV, age 41, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at his home following a sudden illness.

Born April 14, 1980, in Elyria, he was a Lorain County resident for most of his life before moving to Findlay a few years ago.  Frank attended Elyria West High School and worked in the construction industry for many years.

He loved boating, fishing, jet skiing and spending time at the beach.  He also enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool.

Surviving is his son, Michael Allen Patterson of Elyria; mother, Robin (Bob) Bulan of Vermilion; father, Frank J. Patterson III; sister, Nina Martin of Lorain; half-sister, Stacy of Florida; stepbrothers, Bill (Shannon) Bulan of Indiana and Bob Bulan of Port Clinton; stepsister, Laura (Rick) Young of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his stepsister, Roberta Bulan.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Dr. Jim Chapple will officiate.
