Gabriel Wayne Shafer, infant son of Aaron Shafer and Tiffany McCarthy, passed away shortly after his birth, on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Fairview Hospital.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Owen, maternal grandparents; Stephanie Worley and John McCarthy, maternal great grandparents; John and Pat Savel and Barbara McCarthy, paternal grandmother, Dana Lunn, and many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gale Wayne Shafer, maternal great grandfather, Dennis McCarthy, and a cousin, Janelle Lynn Farley.
The family will receive friends for graveside services on Saturday, June 19, at 1:00 pm, at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. The Rev. Fr. Frank Kosem, Pastor of St. Jude Catholic Church, will officiate.
