Geraldine M. Lincicome, (nee Boyle), age 75 of Lorain, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain. She battled three bouts with cancer over the past 7 years.
Born Aug. 21, 1929 in Elyria and raised there, she lived most of her adult life in Lorain.
She was a graduate of Elyria High School.
In 1982, Geraldine co-founded TLC Cleaning in Lorain.
She was an active member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Lorain, and the church's Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and liked to read.
Surviving are her sons, Bill Lincicome, James Lincicome and Rev. John Lincicome all of Lorain, Dan Lincicome of Lagrange, daughters, Nancy Ann Smith of Wakeman, Linci Comy of Oakland, CA, and Claudia Lincicome Meadows of Avon, 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, a brother, Richard of North Olmsted, a sister, RoseAnn Austin of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Claude E. Lincicome in 2000, a brother, James Boyle, and a sister, Marian Kime.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where a rosary will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Roman Catholic Church, Homewood Drive and Grove Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Thomas Smith, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
