Geri Lynn Williams Pishner, 42 of Sheffield Lake, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009 at St. John West Shore Hospital, Westlake from natural causes.
Born Oct. 25, 1966 in Elyria, she lived in Lorain most of her life until moving to Sheffield Lake recently.
Geri attended Lorain High School and Ohio Institute of Health Careers where she was studying to become a medical assistant/phlebotomist.
Geri enjoyed fishing, camping, drag racing, spending time with family and friends, taking care of her children and grandchildren, and karaoke singing.
She is survived by her mother, Leona Reynolds; brother, John Williams Jr.; daughters Kassondra and Kayla all of Lorain; step children, Michael Howard and Kristy Howard both of Lorain; her fiancé, Jeff Pishner of Avon Lake, and his children, Beth Brabson, Larry Brabson of Lorain and Debra Pishner all of Lorain; two grandchildren; step mother, Sherrell Williams of Hohenwold, TN; step sister, Rhonda Boggs of Elyria and several other step brothers and step sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John William Sr.; step father, Charles Reynolds; and a brother, Randy Williams.
Geri Lynn was a wonderful mother and grandmother; she will be missed but never forgotten.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am. Elder Larry Newsome, pastor of Pleasantview Old Regular Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
