Gloria Mitcheff

Gloria Mitcheff, age 91, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2022 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon, Ohio.

Born November 11, 1930 to George and Grace Mitcheff in Lorain, Gloria spent her entire life in the area.  She graduated from Lorain High School and worked as an administrative assistant for the vice president of Thomas Associates and later for the president of Wherry Associates in Westlake, retiring in 1992 after 40 years of service.

She was dedicated to her career and enjoyed traveling all over the country as a part of her job responsibilities.

Surviving are her sisters, Carole Mitcheff and Sharyn (Joseph) Berki, 5 nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews; 19 great-great nieces and nephews and 3 great great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both of parents; brother, George Mitcheff and sister in law, Cora Mitcheff.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
