Harriett Hall, age 78, of Lorain, died on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Community Health Partners HSC - West, Lorain, after a brief illness.
She was born on September 23, 1929, in Glenville, West Virginia, moving to Elyria in 1950. She moved to Lorain 15 years ago. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church, Elyria. Harriett enjoyed sewing, reading, and traveling.
She is survived by her children; Sharron (Jerry) Pottorf, of Cincinnati, Larry Steven (Cindy) Hall, of Cincinnati, Jeffrey Lee (Betty) Hall, of KY, Patti Sue Kelli, of Lorain, and Dee Ann Hall, of Elyria. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters; Sonya M. Post, of Bend Mountain, VA and Floy B. Smith, of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oran Hall, in 2002, 4 siblings, and her parents; Carey Harlon and Lillian (nee Whiting) Bailey.
The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling arrangements.
