Helen Petro

Helen E. Petro (nee Krek) age 88, of St. Louis, MO, died there, Wednesday, January 12, 2005 following a long illness.
Born Dec. 12, 1916 in Trenton, New Jersey, she moved to Lorain in 1940. In 1996, she moved to St. Louis, MO.
She was formerly employed at General Industries, Elyria.
She was a member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Lorain, and the Blessed Virgin Mary Society of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, along with the St. Ann's Auxiliary.
She enjoyed music, playing the piano especially Hungarian music.
Surviving is her son; Dr. Victor Petro of Bridgeton, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul P. Petro Jr., parents; Alex and Anna Krek, step parents; Joseph and Anna Korsorak, step brothers; Joe Korsorak, Bill Case, step sister; Margit Israel.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery.
