Helen M. Huhn Temple, (nee Linden), age 90, of Lorain, died on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at St. John Westshore Hospital, Westlake, following a sudden illness.
She was born on August 13, 1918 in Lorain, where she had been a lifelong resident.
Helen enjoyed bingo, fishing, crocheting and her many grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, David Huhn of Lorain, daughters, Mary Ann (James) Boardwine, and Dorie (James) Camp, both of Lorain, Linda (Rick) Fantauzzi, of Sheffield Village and Susan (Rev. Clyde) Hall, of Lorain, step-sons, John Temple, of Huntington, Richard Temple, of Henrietta and Russell Temple of Norwalk, step-daughters, Shirley Moss, of Norfolk, VA, Peggy (Jack) Ritchey, Kathy Williams and Debra Legard, all of Lorain, brother, George Linden, of Arkansas and sister, Clara Sheppard, of Huron.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Emil Temple, in 1991 parents, Casper and Rose (nee Stephan) Linden, son, Alvin Huhn in 1997, daughter, Virginia Tressel, step-son, Kenneth Temple, brothers, Charles and Harold Linden, and sister, Mildred Whittcop.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be conducted Thursday, March 5, at 1:00 pm. Rev. Clyde Hall, her son-in-law, will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
