Helen L. Wright

Helen Wright, (nee Hall), age 70, of Elyria, passed away March 12, 2011 at Keystone Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center, LaGrange, following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 8, 1940 in Scioto City, Ohio to the late Carl and Pauline (nee Gillum) Hall.
She lived in Portsmouth before coming to Elyria in 1955. Helen worked for Parker-Hannifin in Avon as an inspector, retiring in 2000 after 23 years there.
Helen loved her cats and dogs, and enjoyed reading and wildlife.
Surviving is her husband of 54 years, John H.; sons, John of Lorain, Kenneth and Roger both of Elyria; daughters, Sherry Nilges of Gibsonville, North Carolina, Susan Thomas of Olmsted Falls, and Judith Wright of Elyria; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Carl Hall Jr. and David Hall both of Lorain; sisters, Nina Adams and Sandra French both of Lorain.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Wright; and granddaughter, Charity Wright.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Rev. James Monday, pastor of Praise and Worship, Elyria, will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
