Irene A. Ceh, (nee Milasky) age 75, of Amherst, died on Sunday, July 31, 2005.
She was born on September 13, 1929 in Cleveland, and came to Lorain as an infant. She resided there until moving to Amherst Township in 1955.
Mrs. Ceh graduated from Lorain High School, class of 1947B.
Mrs. Ceh and her husband, Joseph, were the owners and operators of Broadway Feed and Pet Supply in Lorain since 1972. When she was younger, she worked at Thew Shovel in the planning department.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking day trips.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph; 1 daughter, Patricia Ceh, of Lakewood; 3 sons, Michael, of Jackson, MI, Jeff of Amherst Twp., and Jonathon, of Grafton, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances (nee Baclawski) Milasky.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Dr., Amherst. Rev. Fr. Lawrence Martello, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
