Irene "Renie" Edmonson

Irene "Renie" Edmonson, (nee Shultz), age 81, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center, West, Lorain, following a sudden illness.
She was born on August 21, 1926 in Morristown, TN, moving to Lorain in 1955.
Irene enjoyed reading, watching western movies, feeding the squirrels, working on puzzles, her flowers and especially being with her family.
She is survived by her two brothers: Robert "Gene" Shultz, of Wakeman and Stanley Shultz, of Atlanta, Georgia, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends, especially Norvella Brewer, of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Edmonson, parents: Henry B. and Rosie L. (nee Collins) Shultz, 4 sisters: Altee McCoy, Margie Dixon, Almarie Seals and Hazel Riddely.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 1, 2007 from 1-2 p.m., in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Matthew Humphrey, Life Celebrant, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
