James M. Bryant, 24, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at his residence.
Born August 19, 1993 in Lorain, he was a life-long resident of the city. He graduated from Lorain High School in 2011 and was attending Lorain County Community College.
James was working as a cook at Olde Town Pizza House in Amherst. He enjoyed art, pencil drawing, tattooing, playing baseball, skate boarding, fishing, playing video games and watching horror movies. James especially loved animals, music and hanging out with his buddies.
Surviving is his mother, Ann Bryant of Lorain; maternal grandparents, Edward and Sharonne (nee Bozsoki) Szyrej of Lorain; paternal grandparents, George Bryant of Deland, Florida and Nancy Bryant of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; his siblings, Elijah and Jonas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis J. Bryant in 2015.
James was truly a most special person. He will be remembered for his magnetic smile, generous heart and hearty laugh. James will always remain in our thoughts - his memory will be eternal.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 - 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am. Rev. Fr. Sirisa Hrvacevic, pastor of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst, Twp.
