James A. Sennhenn Jr., 57, of Lorain, died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at St. John Westshore Hospital, Westlake, following a lengthy illness.
Born July 1, 1947 in Lorain, he moved to Elyria in 1976. He served as an artillery crewman in the US Army from 1966 to 1968.
He worked at Republic Technologies Incorporated as a mill right for 29 years, retiring in 2000. Prior to that he worked for Fruehauf Trailer Co. in Avon.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Westlake, the United Steel Workers Union Local 1104, and the Lost Cords Club.
Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Barbara (nee Koepp), sons; James A. III of Brownhelm Twp., and Jason of LaGrange, a daughter; Amy Ruiz of Amherst, 5 grandchildren, a brother; John J. of Lorain, and sister; Janice Archie of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Sennhenn in 1973, and Jeannette (nee Ploszaj), Sennhenn in 1991.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services at 5:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 27993 Detroit Rd., Westlake. Rev. Paul S. Burtzlaff, associate pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
