James "J.J." Simko II, beloved local Lorain tattoo artist, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2022, at the age of 31. J.J. was a kind, loving person with an amazing personality. He always wore a smile and loved his daughters above all else. He had a great love for baseball, basketball and softball in his youth and loved wrestling with his nieces/nephews. JJ put a lot of passion into his tattoos and drawings. He had a great sense of humor; his contagious smile and laughter will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Audrey (Paula) Kidd and step-father Robert Hart; his father, James Simko; his cherished daughters, Alisia and Nichole Simko; and his beloved siblings, Renee M. Simko (Adam), Crystal M. Simko, Brandon L. Connell (Bridgette) and Kyle M. Connell (Heather); along with many, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by the love of his life and the mother of his children, Tiffany Hobbs; his beloved grandparents, Elmer and Patricia Kidd, John and Bionella Simko; his uncle David Kidd; and niece Gracelynn Connell.
