Jane E. Frisky, age 65, of Elyria, died on Monday, March 9, 2009, at Elyria Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
She was born on November 27, 1943, in Turtle Creek, PA, moving to Ohio 38 years ago, spending most of her time in Elyria.
Jane was employed at Lear-Romec, Elyria, where she retired from. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila, Sheffield Village.
She was an avid Steelers Fan. She also enjoyed cooking and working crossword puzzles.
Jane is survived by her husband of 38 years, William K., her sons and daughters; Bill (Kelly), of Sheff. Lake, Sandy (Barry) Rader, of Medina, Cheri (Gene) Jankowski, of Tarrs, PA, Karen (Charles) Frisky, of Avon Lake, Bobbi Frisky and Beth Frisky, both of Lorain, and Scott A. (Shannon), of Dublin, Ohio, 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, brothers; Russell, James, Richard, and Daniel, all of PA, and Tom, of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Edna (nee Jones) Stemmerich.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 10:00 am., at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1878 Abbe Road, Sheffield Village, Ohio. The Rev. Fr. Robert Franco, Pastor, will officiate.
