Janet Hazelett, (nee Beightler) age 75 of Elyria, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, Lorain following a lengthy illness.
Born June 8, 1942 in Marysville, Ohio, she lived in Columbus before settling in Elyria.
Janet worked as a registered nurse in hospitals, nursing homes and retired from home health care.
Janet enjoyed shopping, gardening and loved helping people.
Surviving are her sons, Brian Hazelett of Lorain and Greg Hazelett of Lakewood; daughters, Jennifer (John) Mallie of Medina and Tracy (Paul) Hilburt of Shaker Heights; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James of 41 years in 2006; a daughter, Tricia Hazelett in 1995.
