Jerry L. "Snuffy" Smith

Jerry L. "Snuffy" Smith, age 71, of Lorain, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at his home, while under the care of SolAmor Hospice.
He was born on August 5, 1941, in Lorain, where he lived his entire life and was a graduate of Lorain High School. "Snuf" worked as a cement finisher and brick layer. He attended the Christian Life Church and enjoyed going duck hunting and working outside in his yard.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Terry M. "Crickett" (nee Evans), his son, Phillip, of Lorain, step-children; William Amann, of Virginia Beach, VA, Amber Bublik, of Lorain, and Michael Amann, of Twinsburg, his 7 grandchildren; Kalle, Alexis, Elektra, Zahaviah, Anthony, Jonathon, and Taylor, and his brother, Leroy Smith, of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
The family will receive friends on Wed., August 1, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory, may be made to the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, OH 44055.
