Jo Marie Chutes

Jo Marie Chutes (nee Janosik), age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17, 2023 surrounded by her family at her residence in Sheffield Lake, Ohio.

Born September 6, 1947 to Joseph and Louise (nee Ziberna) Janosik in Lorain, Jo lived in Sheffield Lake her entire life.  She graduated from Brookside High School and worked at Lorain Products for many years. After Lorain Products she worked in the cafeteria at Brookside and neighboring elementary schools. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Sheffield Lake.

She loved going to church where she attended Mass daily.  She enjoyed roller skating, farming and above all, spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Surviving is her husband of 54 years, Kenney Chutes; children, Brian (Sherry) Chutes, Kevin (Jenny) Chutes, Michael (Carrie) Chutes and Melissa (Kevin) Eakins; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Joseph P. (Deborah) Janosik and Mark (Laura) Janosik as well as her sisters, Kathleen Janosik and Marian (Ronald) Biltz.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents as well as her grandchild, Michael.
