John Bailey

John Bailey, age 76, of Avon Lake passed away peacefully at his residence on November 25, 2023 under the care of Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Born August 26, 1947 to John and Doris (nee Ball) Bailey in Buffalo, New York, John moved to Lorain at a young age.  He graduated from Lorain High School.  In 1968 he was drafted to the Army during Vietnam.  Following his military service, John worked as a metal worker at Ford.

He enjoyed painting, woodworking, fishing, hunting and trains.  John also enjoyed camping with his family.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Anna (nee Pruchnicki) Bailey; children, John Bailey and Lenora Bailey; as well as many nieces and nephews and a sister, Joyce McDougal.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
