John Silagy, age 42, of Elyria, died on Friday, November 16, 2007 from a sudden illness.
He was born on May 11, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan, moving to Lorain shortly after birth.
He enjoyed racing any type of cars, fishing, cooking, watching the Detroit Lions and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother: Dolores J. (nee Bodnar) Silagy, of Elyria, sisters: Wendy Krzak, of Elyria, Denise Teeter, of Lorain, brother: Frank Silagy of Lorain, 1 niece and 5 nephews and daughter, his only child, Brittney Silagy-Campo, of Lorain.
He is preceded in death by his father: Frank J. Silagy in 1983, sister: Susan Londo (nee Silagy) in 2002, maternal grandparents: John & Rose (nee Plazo) Bodnar, uncles: Joseph and John Bodnar.
Private services will be held for the family by the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
