Jose Allen Cardosa

Jose A. Cardosa, 36 of San Diego, CA, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Born December 27, 1975 in Michoacan, Mexico, he lived in New Jersey before coming to Lorain in 1988. He moved to San Diego following college where he has lived since.
He graduated from Lorain Admiral King in 1993 and graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Architecture. Jose enjoyed traveling.
Surviving is his mother, Angela Arrez of Lorain; a brother, Gerardo Marin of Cleveland; sisters, Maria Marin of Mexico, Nefa Janis of Amherst, Cruz Marin of Mexico, Anita Marin, Francesca Marin, Crecencia Marin and Delia DeJesus all of Lorain, Erma Marin of Houston, TX, and Marcila Marin of Gilbert, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Cardosa.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held on Monday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a mass at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. Rev. Fr. John Retar, pastor of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
