Joseph Herron Sr.

Joseph D. Herron Sr., age 57, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at MetroHealth Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

He was born on April 2, 1966 in Amherst, Ohio to Pat W. Herron and Elva K. (nee Hill) Richey.

Joseph was an avid Cleveland sports fan.  He also enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping and especially loved spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Kimberly (nee Pitts) Herron; son, Joseph '"Bubba" Herron Jr.; siblings, Wayne, Arlene and Lisa,  as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melony Herron; both of his parents, as well as his siblings, Sandra and Jennie.

Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists handled the arrangements.  Services will be announced at a later date.
