Joseph "Jojo" Hill Lee Edwards

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph "Jojo" Hill Lee Edwards, who was born on August 31, 2024, in Lorain, Ohio. Jojo departed this life on January 30, 2025, in the same city that welcomed his joyful presence.

Though his time with us was heartbreakingly brief, Jojo was a radiant soul from the very beginning, characterized by his infectious smile and exuberant spirit. He brought immeasurable joy to those around him and was a happy baby who loved music and cherished the simple pleasures of life, including taking peaceful naps on his father's chest. His laughter and energy brightened the lives of his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed.

Jojo leaves behind his loving mother, Chloie Elaine Dawn Marsh, and devoted father, Martez Edwards. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Marsh and Joshua Pelkey, and his paternal grandparents, Marvin Edwards and Michelle Edwards. Each of these family members holds him dearly in their hearts and will cherish the memories created during his short life.  He also leaves behind 3 aunts, 3 uncles, his nephew, 4 great-grandparents, 1 great aunt and 2 great uncles.

A visitation to celebrate Jojo's life will be held on February 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Dovin Funeral And Cremation Specialists, located at 2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055.

As we reflect on Jojo's brief but impactful time with us, we are reminded of the pure joy he brought to our lives, the love he inspired, and the bonds he forged in his short journey. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
