Joyce A. Corcino (nee Davis) 71, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Autumn Aegis Retirement Community, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
Born May 20, 1945 in Sandusky, Ohio, she moved to Lorain in the early 1960's. Joyce worked for over 30 years as a nurse's aide for several local nursing homes. She was a member of Christian Life Church, Lorain, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband of 54 years, Francisco Corcino; a son, Frank (Denise) Corcino of Lorain; daughters, Brenda (Mark) Varady of LaGrange and Sheila Reynolds of North Ridgeville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Barb Thomas of Clyde, Ohio, and Betty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lula (nee Childers) Davis; son in law, Timothy Reynolds; brothers, Kurt, Willis and Charles; and a sister, Jan.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Wallace Justice, pastor of Christian Life Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp. To send online condolences go to www.dovinfuneralhome.com.
