Karen L. Gleba

Karen L. Gleba, age 48, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, at University Hospital Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby following a short illness.

Born June 5, 1976, in Cleveland, she lived in North Ridgeville until moving to Homerville last year.

Karen graduated from Elyria High School in 1994 and enjoyed watching television, soap operas, and coloring. She loved her family and the time she spent with them. Her favorite things to do were swimming and having fun. She was loved by all.

Surviving are her sisters, Elizabeth, Anne, Becky, Debra, Mary, Denise, Connie, and Carol; a brother, Johnny; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Gleba, in 2011; mother, Beverly (nee Mielcarek) Gleba, in 2001; and sisters, Helen and Linda.

The visitation to pay respects to Karen will be held on Wednesday, January 29, from 10:00 a.m. until the commencement of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. The services will be held at the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, located at 2701 Elyria Avenue in Lorain. Following the service, Karen will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
