Kenneth H. Jabbusch, 71, of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Century Oak Care Center in Middleburg Heights following a lengthy illness.
Born April 13, 1946 in Lorain, he graduated from Lorain High School in 1964 and moved to Elyria in 1970. Kenneth retired in 2012 from the Ohio Turnpike where he worked as a toll operator for 5 years. Prior to this, he worked 30 years for Ridge Tool Company in Elyria as a computer analyst.
He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Elyria, and a 29-year member of the Elyria Elks Lodge 465. Kenneth loved animals, vacationing, golfing and tinkering.
Surviving are his daughters, Robin (Trevor) Sink of North Royalton, Lori (George) Stuart of Elyria; and a step daughter, Michelle (Jeanne) Bonk of Fairview Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ann (nee Kolody) Jabbusch; a sister, Karen Kocan in 2012; and his companion, Tonia (nee Spain) Jabbusch in 2017.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 - 5:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. The Elks Lodge will conduct a service at 4:00 pm. Closing prayers will be conducted at 4:45 p.m. Rev. David Rogers, pastor of St. John United Church of Christ, will officiate.
