Kim Q. Smith (nee Allen) age 50, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 12, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas; she has been a Lorain resident for the past 35 years.
She enjoyed collecting angels, music, wolfs and nature.
Surviving is her daughter: Lisa Hyde, of New London, 3 grandchildren, brothers: Gary Adkinson, of Daytona Beach, Florida, Phillip L. Collar, of Amherst, sister: Kathleen Adkinson, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter V. Allen in 1971 and Tanya L. (nee Lancaster) Adkinson in 1985 and her son: Robert E. Hyde in 1977.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Terry Brooks, pastor of Tower Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
