Kristin R. Provenza

Kristin R. Provenza, age 77, of Lorain, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland.
She graduated from Andrews School and worked at Mama Jo Pies, Pat Catans, and retired from K-Mart. She was a former Girl Scout leader, was active in Masson School PTA, former treasurer of Lorain City Soccer, and former member of Al Anon, and worked with Project Lite at the Lorain Public Library. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peters.
Kristin loved to be with her family, go to soccer and baseball games, as well as traveling and taking trips with her family. She also enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, working on crafts, but above all, she just loved to enjoy life.
Kristin is survived by her sons; Michael P. (Kathy), and Danny S. (Kristine), daughter, Kristin P. (Ronald) Vincek, grandchildren; Jonathan R. (Suzanne) Vincek, Matthew A. (Destiny) Vincek, Nicole M. Vincek, Michael A. Provenza, Eric S. (Welsley) Doyle, and Jennifer (Michael) Seeley, great grandchildren; Kaley Wren Vincek, Eliot Finch Vincek, Jack Starling Vincek, Joshua Seeley, Austin Seeley, Justin Seeley, and Danica Ryan Vincek, who Kristin was so excited to meet when she is to be born in September. She will also be sadly missed by Danita Pawlak.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Albert S. Provenza, in 1994, parents; Fran Z. Revers, in 1994 and Paul T. Revers, in 1967.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 22, from 4-8 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Her funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, at 10:00 am, at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. Fr. Craig M. Hovanec, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
