Kristina Burns,age 18, of Lorain, died Saturday, July 3, 2004 in the Community Health Partners Hospital emergency room, Lorain, following a short illness.
Born January 13, 1986 in Lorain, Ohio , she had lived in Lorain for the past 8 years, coming from Georgia and New Jersey. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Lorain. She had attended Murray Ridge Academy in Elyria. She enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and spending time with her grandparents.
She is survived by her mother- Kimberly Dunick of Lorain; her step-fatherMichael McClellon of Lorain; and her father- Michael Burns of Georgia. She is also survived by a brother- David Burns of Lorain; Maternal Grandparents- Michael and Joan (nee-Murawski) Dunick of Lorain; and great grandmother- Mary (nee-Pandy) Murawski of Pennsylvania.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 from 5-8 P.M., in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M., with the Rev. Fr. Nicholas Rachford, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
Contributions in her memory may be given to the Murray Ridge Academy , 1091 Infirmary Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
