Krystal Elizabeth Tackett

Krystal Elizabeth Tackett, age 45, passed away peacefully at University Hospital on Friday, December 30, 2016. Krystal is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was born in Huntington, West Virginia on April 26, 1971 to Mary Murphy of Lorain, Ohio and David Jackson of Huntington, WV. Krystal is survived by Joe Tackett, daughter Kelsea Tackett (Osborn) and son-in-law Tyler Osborn, grandson Cayson Osborn, daughter Abigail Joy Tackett, and son, Jackson Lee Tackett. Also surviving Krystal are her brothers, Cane Jackson of Cleveland, Ohio and Joey Ramella of Huntington, WV, Printus Dion Knight of California and younger sister LaKeisha Jackson of Huntington, WV.
Krystal loved the Lord and was at her happiest singing and praising God and leading praise and worship at her church home of many years, Church on the North Coast. Next to her passion for the Lord was the love and labor she invested in the many young students whose lives she touched and fashioned as a teacher in multiple school districts, most recently at Eastwood Elementary School in Oberlin, Ohio where she taught kindergarten.
Krystal's legacy shall continue in the lives of her children, the students she impacted and mentored and the large church family to whom she ministered and in return ministered to her spiritually.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Calling hours will be 9-11am at Church on the North Coast, 4125 North Leavitt Rd in Lorain, OH, with the funeral service immediately following.
