Larry E. Durasin

Larry Earl Durasin, age 52, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2009.
He was born on April 6, 1957 in Lorain and has lived here his entire life.
He was a 1976 graduate of Southview High School.
Larry has worked for various restaurants, healthcare services, carpet cleaning and installation companies.
He was a avid sports fan, loved playing bingo, and going to garage sales. He was an all-around good father, brother, son and boyfriend.
He is survived by his life-partner, Georgiann Kurta, of Lorain, daughter, Ashley M. Durasin, of Lorain, parents: Mathew and Earleen (nee Holloway) Durasin, of Lorain, of Lorain, brothers: Gene Durasin, of Oberlin, David Durasin, of Elyria, Steven Durasin, of Columbus and a niece, Megan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Earl & Lillian Holloway.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Captains Paul and Sherry Pelletier, of the Salvation Army, Elyria, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
