Larry D. Johnson, 59, of Rochester, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, following a short illness.
He was born on June 24, 1949 in Lorain, living in Wakeman before moving to Rochester 3 months ago.
Larry served in the United States Navy from 1967 - 1971.
He was employed as an electrician at Tenneco in Milan, Ohio for the last 21 years, and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 2352.
Larry enjoyed fishing and his Harley Davidson.
Survived is his wife of 29 years, Ruby (nee Shreve) Johnson; sons, Larry Dean Johnson Jr., of Wakeman and David James Johnson, of Rochester; 4 grandchildren; brothers, David L. of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Allen Ray; and a sister, Mary Lynn Moyer, of Huntsville, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Retha (nee Dorinski) Johnson; and brothers, Dale and George.
Services for the family were held at the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
