Lawrence E. Davidson, 53, of Lorain, died on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Community Health Partners Hospital, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on January 26, 1954 in Lorain where he has lived his entire life.
He retired in 1995 from Lorain Ford Motor Company, where he worked as an assembler for 15 years.
He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local #425 and the Lake Erie Moose Lodge #552.
He enjoyed music, movies, billiards and video games.
Surviving is his wife of 33 years, Cheryl (nee Toothman); a daughter, Angela Davidson of Lorain; brothers, Sherman Davidson of Warren, and William Davidson of Louisville, KY; a sister, Littia Mae Wright of Elyria, and a half sister, Michelle Shannon of Vienna, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman Davidson and Billie (nee Croy); and a sister, Sharon Carroll.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Barry Knaub, pastor of Central Baptist Church, Niles, Ohio.
