Lesley Roane Vance-Zaborowski, age 42, of Sheffield Lake, passed away unexpectedly, at her home, Monday, January 25, 2010.
She was born on September 15, 1967, in Amherst, living most of her young life Sheffield Lake. She then moved to Las Vegas with her husband, living there from 1992, until returning to Sheffield Lake in 1997. Lesley was a graduate of Southview High School. She attended St. Thomas Catholic Church, Sheffield Lake. Lesley loved taking care of her pets and being outdoors. She also enjoyed golfing.
She is survived by her husband, Victor C. Zaborowski, Jr., her mother and step-father, Barbara (nee Clark) and Virgil Rader, of Sheffield Lake, father in law and mother in law: Victor C. Zaborowski, Sr and Linda Zaborowski, 2 sisters; Kim Harris, of Avon Lake, and Lynette (Scott) Connell, of Lorain, step sister, Jill (Jim) McCraw, step brothers; James (Liz) Rader, John (Terri) Rader, and Jeff Rader, and many step nieces and nephews. Lesley was a very special Aunt to Derek, Corbin, and Veronica.
She was preceded in death by her father, James L. Vance, in November 2006.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 9, from 5-8 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 11:00 am. The Rev. Fr. Stephen L. Shields, Pastor of St. Thomas Church, will officiate.
